Solicitation Letter for Returning Corporate Sponsor
Solicitation of corporate sponsorship is perhaps the most important
fundraising effort related to SLGC's annual meet. Without large dollar
donations, this highly attended and very expensive event simply could not take
place. All SLGC families are strongly encouraged to solicit corporate
sponsorship from those organizations with whom they are familiar. The following
materials and processes have been designed to manage this effort:

An Overview of SLGC for Corporate Sponsors (form Y-02)
Sponsorship Levels & Benefits (form Y-03)
Corporate Sponsorship Form (form Y-04)
Solicitation Letters for New and Returning Sponsors (forms Y-05 and Y-06)
Process:
1. If you plan to solicit corporate sponsorships, please advise an SLGC
staff member at the front desk. Provide the name of the company you are
soliciting, along with any contact information that you have. This
information will be collected in order to minimize duplication of effort
and to keep SLGC management informed of the status of fundraising
activities.
2. Electronic copies of the materials listed above are available on CD
or through email. Please advise the SLGC staff member of the format that
you prefer.
3. After you have familiarized yourself with the sponsorship materials,
please contact any of the individuals listed below for additional
information or guidance.
All sponsorship materials are due no later than October 15, 2007.
